After a brief glimpse into warmer spring weather, the harsh winter weather of early February returns this week to below-freezing temperatures. According to the National Weather Service, temperatures reached into the low 50’s Sunday afternoon bringing dense fog to the area for much of the weekend. The warm weather will subside however, as the NWS predicts afternoon temperatures in the mid-30’s today before plummeting below freezing for the rest of the week with a chance of freezing precipitation Tuesday into Tuesday night, and snow potentially coming Wednesday and Thursday.
