An open house concerning the Marion County transportation study is set for this evening, and the public is invited to view the various displays and talk with experts about what they would like to see in the corridor between Knoxville and Pella.
The open house will be at the Marion County Public Health Department’s training room; the Knoxville Area Transportation Feasibility Study is intended to examine and find ways to improve traffic flow between the two cities.
The open house runs from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The Marion County Road Department is hosting the event, and wants to give the public a chance to study details of the process as well as offer their own suggestions.
