Families First of Pella is encouraging early childhood literacy with their upcoming Book Bash.

An event will be held on Saturday from 10-11:30am at the Pella Public Library. The celebration includes a free book for the first 100 families, as well as time for crafts, stories, games, and songs for all who come. Director of Families First of Pella Allison Kerndt says developing strong literacy skills are a key component for all children as they grow up.
