The Pleasantville boys’ basketball team closed out the regular season last night in Carlisle and had a tough time keeping up with the Wildcats losing 90-57.
The Trojans hung around trailing 16-13 at the end of the first and 40-28 at half. The lead grew to 17 at the end of three and a big fourth quarter put the game out of reach. Teron Mount led Pleasantville with 13 points and Parker Elder had 12.
The Trojans ended the regular season 7-13 and gear up for the first round of districts Monday against Colfax-Mingo in Chariton.
