Six local wrestlers are competing for a state championship starting today at Wells Fargo Arena in downtown Des Moines. Three Indianola wrestlers, Ryder Downey at 106 lbs, Nick Bonanno at 145 lbs, and Brennan Meacham at 170 lbs, will compete in the tough class 3A division. Three Pleasantville Trojan wrestlers have also made it to the state meet, with Cael Lester at 160lbs, Cale Anthony at 220 lbs, and Matthew Kauffman at 285 lbs, will be competing against class 1A competition.
