Indianola Parks and Rec is hosting the Pickard Cocoa Classic 5K Run/Walk fundraiser tomorrow morning. Kathy Kester with Indianola Parks and Rec tells KNIA News the event is set to raise funds for a special cause.

“We have teamed up with Indianola Kiwanis and the Indianola Rotary Club who have really lead the charge of raising money for new equipment for the playground at Pickard Park. The new equipment will be all-inclusive so everyone, including those with special needs, will be able to play on it.”

Registration for the event costs $30, and registrations will be taken the day of the race. A link to register can be found below
