Another round of moderate snowfall fell in the region overnight Saturday into Sunday afternoon.
Widespread amounts of 5-7 inches fell in Marion County, with 6” recorded near downtown Pella and 6.5” at the KNIA/KRLS Studios in Knoxville. A report to the National Weather Service indicated 6.8″ fell in Indianola.
Yet another widespread snow event is expected late Tuesday into Wednesday morning. According to the National Weather Service, another 4-7” of snow is possible during that time. If that amount falls, both Knoxville and Pella will top approximately 4 feet in total for the season since November.
