Another round of moderate to heavy snowfall is possible in south central Iowa late Tuesday into Wednesday.

A Winter Storm Watch is in effect from 6 p.m. Tuesday until 9 a.m. Wednesday. Between 4-7″ of snow is in the forecast, with higher totals the further west one travels.

The first flakes will fly between 7-9 p.m., moving from southwest to northeast. Snowfall will be heavy enough to reduce visibility at times, and will cause area roadways to become slick quickly.
