After winter weather caused transportation problems on the first attempt, the Indianola High School Post-Prom Committee is hosting attempt number two of the Prom Dress Sale Fundraiser this Sunday. Organizer Andrea Bingaman tells KNIA News the sale helps provide a less expensive prom, and the funds raised stay in the community.

““We went and looked at prom dresses just a couple of weeks ago and the cheapest one I found was $300. These dresses will be from anywhere between $20 to maybe $100 at the most, whatever the seller wants. They are more affordable, and you are also helping us raise money for the after-prom activities, which stays right here in Indianola.”

The sale will take place this Sunday, February 24th in the media room at the Indianola High School. Those who want exclusive access can pay $10 and shop from 1-1:30pm, and the sale is open to the public from 1:30 – 3:30pm.
