Pleasantville alumna Kylee Van Haalen-Brown is making her presence known in her freshman year for the Grand View University Track and Field team.

The 2018 Pleasantville graduate has competed in the Vikings’ five indoor meets in the weight throw and shot put. Her personal best heaves thus far include 37’1’’ in the weight throw and 24’6’’ in the shot put. Van-Haalen-Brown’s best finish was placing 12th at their home meet last month in the weight throw.

The Vikings gear up for the NAIA Indoor National Championships next weekend in Brookings, South Dakota.
