KNIA Radio staff in Indianola dropped off food donations from the 2018-19 holiday food drive at The Helping Hand in Indianola Thursday morning with the ‘Lil Big Red Radio. Ann Githens with The Helping Hand tells KNIA News if someone is willing to help they are more than welcome.

“We always need volunteers, food, and financial assistance to help people in Warren County. There is normally someone that has information about volunteering or donating from 8am until at least noon most days. You can get some more information, take a look at a schedule, and fill out an application. We can always use the help.”

The Helping Hand in Indianola is open for use on Tuesday from 12:30 – 2:30, and Thursday and Saturday from 9-11am.
