Several types of winter weather are possible today with a storm system moving into central Iowa. Rain is expected to continue off-and-one for the rest of the day, and then switch to mixed precipitation and snow late this evening. Light snowfall totals are expected in Marion County, but that could change depending on the timing of the cold front passing through. Wind gusts up to 45 MPH are possible this evening and overnight as well, and a wind advisory goes into effect late night and continues throughout most of Sunday. Stay tuned to 92.1 KRLS for the latest winter weather information.
