It’s a short turnaround for the Marion County Board of Supervisors, as they follow up their special meeting on Friday with their regularly-scheduled one tomorrow.

Items from Friday up for discussion include the Knoxville Senior Board’s proposal to start its own congregate meal and Meals on Wheels service on April 1st, after the county officially switches over to using Christian Opportunity Center’s kitchen and staff for meal deliveries.

The Senior Board says it can’t move forward until the status of the county-owned equipment inside their center at Knoxville City Hall is resolved; a list of items the county wants to keep will be produced, and the remainder could be sold to the Senior Board for one dollar.

The Board of Supervisors will also address two health plan proposals, and decide which one to use for its employees.

Among new items for discussion is a proposal for a regional housing trust fund with Warren, Boone and Jasper Counties.

Tuesday’s meeting begins at 9:00 a.m. at the Marion County Courthouse.
