It’s the biggest event of the year for the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce; the annual Chamber Gathering will be at the Grand Theater, and over a hundred guests representing the various members of the Chamber will be on hand to look back and look forward.
Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m. and the formal presentation will take place at 6:30 inside the theater; Hannah Vander Veer is executive director of the Chamber, and she tells KNIA/KRLS News this is the best possible opportunity for members to get together and learn more about the city’s business community.
“This is our largest gathering of our membership for the year, just a great time for businesses to come out and connect with each other, hear what the Chamber has been up to and what we will continue to be doing in the future,” Vander Veer says.
“We’ll have a few different speakers, we’ll have a…video of our 2018 things that we accomplished and just a few fun things here and there for the group.”
The evening will also include a presentation on the Greater Des Moines Partnership, to acquaint members with what resources it has available and how they can use it to develop and market their own businesses.
