After an up and down season, Indianola Indians head boys basketball coach Brett Watson has gotten to know the athletes over the last two seasons, and has really enjoyed his time with this latest class. Watson tells KNIA News following their careers and further education will be fun.

“Embrace the journey that you go on. As a coach you always try to win every game and sometimes that doesn’t happen, whether that be gameplan or just the game of basketball. I keep reinforcing how much I enjoy being around these kids and seeing their growth not just through November through Februrary, but over the last two years getting to know them.”

The Indians went 16-5 over the last season.
