A District FFA competition will be held at Indianola High School, with a large group of Indianola students participating. Agriculture Education teacher Casey Brown tells KNIA News over 40 schools are bringing students to compete for two spots at the State Convention.
“It is hosted in Indianola this year as I am serving as the District FFA Advisor, so we should have a fun time. What that means is that we will have over 300 students come in and do contests such as creed speaking, parliamentary procedure, conduct in meetings, sales, interviews, public speaking, all of those events come together and all of those schools are competing for two spots at the State Convention in Ames on April 15th and 16th.”
