Pella Senior Emily Holterhaus has added another accolade to an already stuffed trophy case in her illustrious career. Holterhaus was once again named All-District in Class 4A on the Central Team, voted on by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association.

Holterhaus was once again stellar for the Lady Dutch basketball team, collecting 284 rebounds and 12.9 per game, both the second best marks in the entire class. Emily’s 50 blocks and 77 steals also ranked in the top five in 4A as well.

Knoxville’s Katie Keitges, a junior, was also on the 4A Central team, as her 23.4 points per game was 2nd in the class, and her 77 steals put her in a tie with Holterhaus for 5th most in 4A.

Both figure to find their way on numerous All-State Ballots again this season, after both were named 2nd team last year. The 2019 Iowa Girls Coaches Association All-State Teams will be released late next week.
