The Indianola City Council meets in regular session this evening. The board will hold a public hearing on the proposed budget for 2019, and City Manager Ryan Waller feels the board and city staff have done a good job getting feedback from the community and anyone with concerns about the budget is more than welcome to share those concerns at the public hearing. The board will consider a resolution on the proposed tax rate for the next year, set salaries for city officers and employees, and receive a presentation from Indianola High School FFA participants. The meeting begins at 6pm in the city council chambers at Indianola City Hall.
