The Indianola City Council met in regular session Monday evening. The council held a public hearing on the budget, and passed the budget for fiscal year 2020 with a tax rate of $13.27, which is a 57 cent increase from the previous year. The council approved staff salaries, an updated employee handbook, and entered into a professional service agreement with HR Green for the 3rd Avenue Sewer Project. Indianola High School FFA members also presented their state competition bound Parliamentary Procedure and Conduct of Meetings group sets to council and staff.
