This Sunday is the day we go back onto Daylight Saving Time; be sure to set your clocks forward one hour on Saturday night, to get ready for the time change.

Daylight Saving Time officially begins at 2:00 a.m. here in Iowa, and in each time zone across the country. The only areas where it isn’t observed are most of Arizona, and Hawaii.

Daylight Saving Time has been observed in one form or another in the United States since 1918; the current schedule has been in place since 2007, and is managed by the U.S. Department of Transportation.

We will return to Standard Time on November 3rd.
