Year one in the West Central Conference has come to a close for the Pleasantville boys’ basketball team.
In a conference that saw two teams in the state tournament this week and a few others that were capable, the Trojans now know where they need to be to compete for a conference championship. Head Coach Joel Allman tells KNIA Sports getting stronger is a huge key.
“We have to get in the weight room and get more explosive. That’s the biggest thing about this conference is it is full of athletes. That comes from getting in the weight room and also going out for other sports working other muscles and competing.”
The Trojans finished 8-14 this past season.
