After the fall season where he competed at the state cross country meet, Indianola long distance runner Eric Baldus is already off to a hot start in the track and field season. Baldus took home first place at the Little Hawkeye Conference Indoor Meet at Grinnell College in the 1600m run, with a time of 4:50.21, which was a second faster than the second place finisher. Other events the Indians boys team will look to succeed in are the short sprints with Tryce Kirgan, and Wyatt Woodruff in the 400m.
