The Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad was one of the better teams in the area. The Panthers finished 14-6 this season and went unbeaten in the South Central Conference. Not only were the Panthers great on the court, they were also just as or even better in the classroom. Every one of the members of the Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad earned a 3.7 grade point average for the team which earned them the Distinguished in Academic Achievement award. In addition, eight of the Panthers earned all South Central Conference all-academic with a cumulative G-P-A of 3.9.
