A Des Moines woman is accused of passing fraudulent checks at two Pella businesses earlier this year. Nikola Fuller, 29, is charged with two counts of Forgery, each a Class D felony. According to court records, Fuller is accused of writing checks from closed accounts totaling over $1200 to two local businesses. Security footage was used to assist in the identification of Fuller, according to police, and in a subsequent interview this month, Fuller told investigators in a written and verbal statement that she and a male accomplice were both involved in the cases.
