The Knoxville Boys Track and Field Squad is hard at work in preseason getting ready for their first meet later this month. 25 boys are out for Coach Eric Kellar’s team and says they may be smaller than what he would but like they are all working hard. Kellar tells KNIA/KRLS Sports they want to peak in May with the bigger meets like conference and state qualifying meets then. He says right now they need to get outside and get a baseline of what each team member can do intially. The Panthers will take a partial team to the Iowa State Indoor meet in Ames on Tuesday. The Panthers first outdoor meet is scheduled for March 26th at Pella Christian.
