The Democratic off-year caucus is scheduled to be held tomorrow morning, as Marion County Democrats gather for an organizational meeting and to determine the party platform.

The meeting will take place at 10:00 a.m. at the Marion County Extension Office, at 210 N. Iowa Street in Knoxville; it’s open to any registered Democrat in the county, although only voting Central Committee members will be allowed to vote in the elections for the committee.

Nominations for any open seat on the Central Committee will be accepted, as will resolutions to the party platform; those must be submitted in writing. Participants are asked to verify their proposal is not already included in the platform.
