With the outdoor track season soon to begin, the Indianola boys track and field team is banking on the hard work from the offseason to show off their talents this spring. Head coach Matt Oliver tells KNIA Sports that many of the athletes took it upon themselves, whether they were playing a different sport or not, to train and prepare for the upcoming season with workouts and conditioning, and he thinks that will help push the team to greater heights. The Indians already competed in the Little Hawkeye Conference indoor meet, and will compete in another indoor meet at Ames coming soon.
