Police and fire personnel are investigating a fire last Wednesday near Melcher Dallas, which destroyed a two-story house.

The fire was at at 2391 30th place; firefighters called to the scene arrived to find the two story home fully engulfed.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is joining the Melcher-Dallas Fire Department in the investigation.
