Last year, with 12 girls the Melcher-Dallas Saints placed fourth in the Bluegrass Conference, after a season where the Saints had no girls out. This season the Saints have 14 girls and Coach Amy Stuart tells KNIA Sports that they can compete for the top half of the conference. She says the younger girls will have to step up in key roles. She says Seymour could be the team to beat, as the Warriors have a lot of athletes at all events.
