The Pleasantville girls’ basketball team recently announced their team awards for the 2018-2019 campaign.
Jordan Dursky received most valuable player and the Ted Myers’ Dedication award. Dursky did it all for the Trojans leading the team with 8.4 points per game, 149 rebounds, 86 steals, and 56 blocks. Taylor Foley was named most improved player. The senior was the second leading scorer with 6.6 points a game after averaging two points a season ago. Foley also hauled in 136 rebounds and had six blocks.
The Trojans finished the year 9-11 and they lose Dursky, Foley, and five others to graduation.
