The grand prize winner for Radio Active Bingo on KNIA and KRLS was chosen on Saturday morning.

Erika DeGeest of Hamilton, Iowa (pictured with our Spencer Dirks) was selected as the winner of this year’s top prize of $1,000.

She tells KNIA/KRLS News her plan for the money is to put it to use.

“I would always say I’m going to put it towards a trip or a vacation, would be my answer. My husband would say he wants to save it, but I would say I’m going to spend it,” DeGeest says.

Each week, two winners were drawn to win a weekly prize of $50; all cards received throughout the course of the contest were entered into the final drawing, to determine the overall winner.
