A fundraiser for the Knoxville Area Community Hospital Auxiliary comes just in time for Easter, as donors will be able to support its efforts by choosing from a variety of treats.

Items provided by The Nutman Company will be on sale in the lobby of Knoxville Hospital and Clinics on April 4th and 5th; nuts, chocolates, candy and mixes will be on sale, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Auxiliary.

This is one of several such fundraisers held throughout the year to support the hospital by fulfilling specific needs. Arleen Ensor from the Auxiliary tells KNIA/KRLS News one recent purchase went towards providing a computer on wheels, or COW, for use where needed around the hospital.

“We have done two of the COWs most recently; and then we also do a couple bicycles for safety for the kids and the safety program. And just, whatever’s needed around there we just try and fill in,” Ensor says.

The Nutman Company sale will take place in the main lobby on Thursday, April 4th from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and on Friday, April 5th from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The sale is open to the general public.
