Some Central College track and field distance runners started off the outdoor season by running at the Washington University (Mo.) Distance Carnival on Friday night. Daniel Sunvold headlined the 10,000 meter run for Central in 58th place. Easton Sabala was right behind him in 59th place. Jeremy Fopma’s came in at 46th in the 5,000 meter run. In the women’s races freshman Rayanne Dally ran her first 10,000-meter run and placed 47th. Miranda Kruiswyk was Central’s best 5,000-meter runner registering in 49th place. Central’s throwers will participate in the Viking Olympics today in Rock Island, Illinois.
