The PCM boys’ track team competed at Roland-Story on Thursday night and finished second out of four teams.

The Mustangs finished with 80.5 points while Roland-Story defended their home track with 107.5 points. PCM owned the sprinting department claiming first place finishes from Preston VanWyk in the 100m dash (11.28), Reed Worth in the 200m (23.71), and Nigel Sperfslage in the 400m hurdles (1:00.23). Also taking top honors for the Mustangs included Payton Strovers in the long jump (19’8.5’’) and the shuttle hurdle relay team (1:04.6). Second place finishes included the 4x400m relay, 4x200m relay, Jacob Van Winkle in the 200m, Cole Dustin in the 110m hurdles and high jump, and Dane Owens in the shot put.

Due to poor track conditions PCM’s home meet on Tuesday has been moved to Simpson College.
