School districts in Iowa are hoping the Iowa Senate completes the process of extending the state’s portion of the sales tax paying for infrastructure upgrades. Pella Schools Superintendent Greg Ebeling says the SAVE (Secure an Advanced Vision for Education) tax was extended by the Iowa House to 2051, and it’s now up to the Senate to pass a version of their own. Ebeling says the funding is critical to maintain and update district infrastructure. The Iowa House passed the measure on a 96-3 vote.
