With the new weight room floor and equipment at Indianola High School, students will have an opportunity to use the new weights to train not only for athletics, but during gym classes and free time. Head football coach and gym teacher Eric Kluver tells KNIA News the weight room has new looks, and is garnering some excitement.

“We’ve got some new cardio equipment, seven double-sided racks that are all custom built with Indianola logos, custom plates with our logo and color coordinated with our school colors. It’s a lot of free weight stuff, functional weight training that we’ll use in here. All new dumbbells, bars, new clips, weights, truly a makeover in the weight room, and kids are excited to get in here.”

The floor and new equipment were provided by money raised by the Indianola Athletic Boosters and school district.
