Kids in Pleasantville will have plenty to do on the day before Easter, not only with the annual Easter Egg hunt but beforehand at the Webb Shadle Memorial Library.
“Tail Waggin’ Tutors” will be at the library on Saturday, April 20th from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. It will feature Phoebe, a trained therapy dog who will be available for a one-on-one or small group reading session with kids.
No prior registration is required, and there will be plenty of time for children to spend a few minutes reading or cuddling with Phoebe.
This event will precede the Pleasantville Chamber of Commerce Easter Egg Hunt, which will take place at 11:30 a.m. at the soccer field.
