The Indianola City Council met in regular session Monday evening. The council held a public hearing on and approved a change in city code to allow for the creation of a snow cone business, which will be placed in the Hy-Vee parking lot and open on April 13th. The council gave direction to staff deciding decorative highway lights on Highway 65/69, approved a development agreement with Autumn Ridge, and approved nominations to the board of adjustment. The council approved a request from Indianola High School students to hang banners for Operation Recognition of Service banners, and renamed Kennedy St. near the county border to 150th.
