The Pella Police Department has announced the dates for the Spring 2019 Citizen’s Police Academy. Lt. Paul Haase says the group will be meeting on Wednesdays starting on May 8th through June 26th. He says the eight week program includes participants learning about the different aspects of police work, and that many of the classes are hands on and the officers instructing work hard to make the classes as realistic as possible.
