Simpson College junior basketball player Conor Riordan has been selected to play on the USA D-3 Basketball Select National Team this summer in Brazil, one of 10 players chosen from across the country. Riordan averaged 18.2 points per game for the Storm this season, and was named to the American Rivers Conference First Team for 2019, his second straight selection.

The team will travel to Sao Paulo, Brazil on July 8 to compete in two games, then fly to Rio de Janeiro for two additional contests. Riordan is the first athlete from Simpson College to ever be selected to be a part of the team.
