Summer projects have been approved by the Pella Community School Board. Superintendent Greg Ebeling says after the students leave for break, the district completes several purchases and projects as it relates to technology, transportation, and maintenance. He says the items approved are paid for by the SAVE sales tax money and PPEL levy. Two of the key projects that will be worked on are building security enhancements district wide and a new drop off and pick up loop at Madison Elementary. The contract for the Madison loop will be considered at the next board meeting at their April 22nd meeting.
