The Knoxville Girls Soccer Squad fell 3-2 in overtime to Nodaway Valley last night. The Panthers got goals from Emma DeJoode and Kelsey Ryan. Marley McKay was credited with an assist. Coach Matt Richhart told KRLS Sports he was extremely proud of the girls’ effort and likes the way they have been working. Senior Player Amber Vander Veer tells KRLS Sports the seniors are trying to show the younger players the ropes, and it seems to be paying off. Knoxville does not get to think about a heartbreaking loss, the Panthers back at it tonight in Ken Locke Stadium against Oskaloosa with a varsity first start at five-30.
