Eleven students from Knoxville High School are in Ames this Monday and Tuesday for the state FFA competition, after going through district qualifying last month.

They will be taking part in skill events such as Job Interview, Chapter Program and Conduct of Meetings. Some will be participating as individuals, while others are on teams as full members or alternates.

The students representing Knoxville include:

Savanna Scott, Faith Hatch and Carson Shinn — Chapter Program (alternates)

Tanna Davis, Samara Staton, Justyce Eck, Jose Brooks, Jayce Hughes, Kallee Cupples and Keeri Gerdom — Conduct of Meetings

All eleven qualifiers won gold at the district event. A list of qualifiers and results will be posted as soon as they are made available, on kniakrls.com.
