The Central softball team was swept by Coe College Friday in a doubleheader, losing game one 5-4 and 9-0 in five innings in game two. The Dutch scored three runs in the top of the 7th to tie the game in the first contest, only to have the Kohawks walk it off in the bottom half of the frame. Kaitlyn Andresen and Daria Parchert each went 2-for-3 with a home run in game one, while Central was no-hit in the game two.

Central’s baseball team opened a three game series with a 10-0 win over Dubuque at the Kuyper Complex Friday. Knoxville alumnus Ben Wallace was 3-for-4 with 2 RBI and pitched an inning of one hit relief in the 8th.
