Preparations continue for the Indianola Public Library’s Summer Kickoff Block Party at the end of May. The block party includes live music, lawn games, food trucks, and Alison Brown with the library tells KNIA News she is starting to see the expanded age group join in on library activities
“It’s just show up, you’ll be able to hear the music and the party from a ways away, and everyone of all ages is invited. We have grandparents come, and little kids come, but we really love to see those middle ages start to come and join in. Last year we had a big jump in that 20-30 age range show up, so this block party is really for everybody.”
The block party takes place on May 30th from 6-8pm.
