Several Indianola spring sports teams are in action Monday, making trips all across the metro area. The boys tennis squad hosts one of their toughest tests of the season in Norwalk, one of the only teams to take down the Indians in conference play in 2018. The girls track squad travels to Saydel for meet, taking on some Heart of Iowa Conference and other area teams. And the girls golf team travels to Veenker Golf Club for a meet hosted by Ankeny. Head Coach Rita Bunting tells KNIA News Veenker is one of the toughest courses in the state, so she is looking for her team to adapt to the tough circumstances.
