According to a study by the US Department of Agriculture in 2017, Warren County has seen a drop in a number of farming and agricultural fields since 2012. USDA numbers show that the number of farm operations is down 120 since 2012, with the number of acres and cropland harvested also seeing significant drops. The drop in operations and land use has also affected the average net income for farmers, down to $21 million from $31 million.
