Indianola City Hall will be closed to the public this Friday for staff to conduct spring cleaning. City Manager Ryan Waller tells KNIA News the idea has been bounced around for awhile, and it was decided to just go for it.
“City hall has a lot of stuff. Stuff that has been accumulated over the years, and we’re running out of space. Files that are closed or outdated, there’s a lot of things in storage areas that hasn’t been gone through in probably decades. So we are going to take the day, clean it out, and hopefully get a better idea of what our space needs are in the future.”
City Hall will reopen for normal operation on Monday, April 29th.
