The No. 3 ranked Pella Boys golf team won in their first 18 hole tournament of 2019 at the Washington Invitational Saturday. The Dutch had an 18 hole team score of 314, and were led by freshman tournament individual champion Will Simpson with a 75, followed by teammate Luke Galeazzi at 77, who was third overall. This was Simpson’s first ever 18 hole varsity high school tournament, and he walked away as tournament Champion. Pella’s score was rounded out by Trey Wood (80) and John Oltman (82). Pella is 11-1 on the season and heads to Oskaloosa Tuesday.
