Tuesday is the deadline to register boats with the County Recorder.

You may renew your registration in person at the recorder’s office between now and April 30th; if you are buying a new boat, you must bring your registration, bill of sale and title to the Recorder’s Office; there will be a title for any boat over 16 feet.

Renewals may be sent in by mail; they must be postmarked by April 30th in order to avoid a late fee.

Any renewal turned in after the 30th, or any boat which was not renewed during the 2016 to 2019 period, will incur a $5.00 penalty fee.

You will need to have the hull ID number for each boat being registered.
